Atelier de troupe is presenting a curated line, with ceramicists and Artist Emilie Halpern, titled “ABALONE SERIES." Inspired by ancient Japanese lacquerware and its later interpretation in 1920’s French Art Deco vases. Their glossy oxblood glaze is an ode to the red sheen of lacquer, and the abalone shells reference traditional abalone inlay.
