SHOWROOM MANAGER AND SALES – NEW YORK

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HIGHLY MOTIVATED SELF-STARTER THAT IS INTERESTED IN THE WORLD OF HIGH-END DESIGN AND LUXURY SALES TO MANAGE OUR PETIT NEW YORK SHOWROOM, AS WELL AS HEAD UP OUR SALES TEAM AND ASSIST WITH MARKETING. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

– DEVELOP A DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF AND BECOME AN EXPERT IN AdeT PRODUCTS AND BRAND STORY

– WORK AS THE PRIMARY SALES REPRESENTATIVE BETWEEN AdeT AND ALLOCATED SALES TERRITORIES 

–  MANAGE CLIENT ORDERS THOROUGHLY AND SKILLFULLY THROUGH THE SALES PROCESS AND WITH THE UTILIZATION OF QUICKBOOKS AND MONDAY; YOU WILL WORK WITH AND GUIDE OUR CLIENTS AND STOCKISTS THROUGH QUOTING, INVOICING, AND BILLING, TO ORDER COMPLETION, DELIVERY, AND CUSTOMER CARE.

– PROVIDE FOLLOW-UP CARE AND PROBLEM-SOLVING AS NEEDED.

– DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN CONSISTENT AND STRATEGIC OUTREACH TO GROW BUSINESS.

– REPRESENT AdeT AND WALK OUR CLIENTS THROUGH OUR COLLECTIONS IN THE SHOWROOM, BY PHONE, AND BY EMAIL.

– FOSTER THE CLIENT EXPERIENCE WITH CARE AND ATTENTION TO PROVIDING INFORMATION, RESPONDING IN A TIMELY MANNER, AND MAINTAINING ENTHUSIASM IN COMMUNICATION.

– UTILIZE REPORTING TO MANAGE OUR CLIENT LISTS, SEEK OUT AREAS OF OPPORTUNITY AND FORMULATE OUTREACH STRATEGIES TO OPTIMIZE SALES IN YOUR TERRITORIES.

– FOCUS ON AND ENGAGE WITH OUR PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING PROCESSES TO MANAGE CLIENT EXPECTATIONS.

– CONSISTENTLY SUPPORT THE AdeT TEAM WITH CLIENT NEEDS BY DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING SOLUTIONS TO MAINTAIN AN EXCELLENT STANDARD OF CLIENT EXPERIENCE AND REACHING MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND YEARLY SALES GOALS.

– MANAGE DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS OF THE SHOWROOM AS KEY HOLDER, INCLUDING CARING FOR AND MAINTAINING ALL FLOOR SAMPLES AND WINDOW DISPLAYS, AS WELL AS SCHEDULING AND MANAGING VENDORS FOR SHOWROOM OPERATIONS.

– SCHEDULE AND TAKE APPOINTMENTS WITH MEMBERS OF THE TRADE AND OTHER CLIENTS AT THE SHOWROOM.

– ACT AS THE MEDIATOR BETWEEN CLIENTS AND OUR PRODUCTION AND DESIGN TEAMS ON STANDARD AND CUSTOM ORDERS. 

– UPDATE CLIENT AND STOCKIST ACCOUNTS WITH THE MOST RELEVANT PRODUCTS AND RESOURCES AVAILABLE.

– WORK CLOSELY BUT VIRTUALLY WITH THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR, DESIGN TEAM, AND PRODUCTION TEAM IN LOS ANGELES TO LEND A SALES PERSPECTIVE IN STUDIO OPERATIONS AND GOALS.

– ACT AS THE MARKETING POINT OF CONTACT; ENGAGE WITH AND FOSTER OUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR PR COMPANY AND PRESS CONTACTS.

– ASSIST OUR CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND DESIGN TEAM IN OUR DIGITAL PRESENCE WITH OUR WEBSITE, INSTAGRAM, AND PINTEREST.

 

SKILLS: 

– EXCEPTIONAL TIME-MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND INCREDIBLY SELF-MOTIVATED.

– FANTASTIC COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS (DEMONSTRATED IN PERSON, AS WELL AS BY EMAIL AND PHONE). 

– INQUISITIVE AND MOTIVATED NOT JUST WITH SALES BUT THE WORLD OF HIGH-END DESIGN.  

– SHARP EYE FOR AESTHETICS AND METICULOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL. 

– A FLEXIBLE AND FRIENDLY ATTITUDE WITH BOTH CLIENTS AND COLLEAGUES.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

– SHOWROOM AND SALES EXPERIENCE OR COMPARABLE CLIENT-FACING ROLE. 

– DEMONSTRATES ABILITY TO CULTIVATE AND MAINTAIN CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS. 

– UNDERSTANDING AND ADAPTABLE IN HIGH PACE ENVIRONMENTS. 

– MUST BE BASED IN NEW YORK.

– BACHELOR’S DEGREE. 

– MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF SALES EXPERIENCE RELATED TO INTERIOR DESIGN. 

– PROFICIENT IN QUICKBOOKS, GOOGLE OFFICE, MONDAY, ADOBE SUITE, AND WORDPRESS. 

– ENGLISH FLUENCY REQUIRED; MULTIPLE LANGUAGES A PLUS.
